I visited the week after kids went back to school, so it was pretty deserted. Nice. Friendly folks at the floating General Store. How many campgrounds have flush toilets & sinks and playground for the kids? Pretty lake, too -- but of course no fish from shore; you need a boat with cannonballs on cables and a sonar fish finder to have any hope of harvesting one of the last few trout.

This is the most beautiful campsite HOWEVER...Certain staff here are extremely rude and unprofessional. I completely agree with the comments regarding their behaviour because it is ridiculous. The staff member with tattoos does not know how to interact with humans.

My family and I have been coming here for 15 years and we miss the old staff members.

We were also interrogated for staying up past 10 pm even as we quietly talked around the campfire. The staff member told us that we had to go sit in our trailer. Not to mention there were children sleeping in there.

Please consider re-staffing for next season.

Great Park! Nice bike path through the trees, an awesome playground for the kids and a nice beach too. The reason for a 3 star is the staff. They do not have good communication skills and are quite rude and unreasonable. they bad mouthed a few campers to others staying in the park, which is extremely unprofessional. All in all, I would recommend camping at this beautiful place just don't expect much from the staff.

This is just one example of the horrific management that was witnessed this summer.

So the facility and spots are good but the staff are awful. They are rude a don't have manors at all. Don't know where they find the staff but they need to look at this. If you are planning on staying up past 10 pm don't do it as they will be at your site indicating you are to loud at 10:01 pm. Talking amongst family around a campfire and roasting marshmallow is apparently to loud at this park. Would not come back unless they change the staff especially the guy with the glasses as he's just an ass. Another park attendant a lady that deals driving around with pickup is just a cow. She'll be at your site at 1030 am as check out is at 11am and remind you how to camp and that you need to pick up and leave the site clean and make sure you are out at 11am sharp and not one minute longer. None the less the one star is due to poor staff and obviously poor management but the lake and beaches ect are beautiful.

nice campground, but we will never go back.it seems the contractor who runs the place decided that hiring short, x cops to host the place is the right way to go. little men with big egos, do not make good hosts. he was telling lies about anything to get things his way. these parks are public parks that we paid for, that our tax dollars keep running and pay his wages. what a joke!!!
