  Superb spot for flying with numerous sites within easy driving distance. The infrastructure allows for conveniant camping with other pilots and non flying accompanying visitors. Tandems frequently exceed 60 minutes. School (paragliding and hang gliding) is very flexible, adapting to the student's schedule and ability. I will be going back. See you there !

  It is really hard to encapsulate in a few words the wonderful month I had flying at Freedom Flight Park. I could wax lyrical to the point of eye glazing describing the welcoming people and atmosphere that pervades this place, from the help and advice that everyone offers freely to the warm fellowship and camaraderie found at the lounge and around the campfire in the evening. I have to restrain myself from rambling at length about the awesome instructors/tandem pilots who truly go the extra mile to make sure you have the best training or the best possible tandem experience. Suffice it to say it's a special place that you need to visit (yeah, I said need) and then you too will understand why it was hard to keep my review so short.

  I flew with these guys at the end of August and it was an awesome experience! It was my first time ever paragliding and they were great about walking me through the process. Really easy going and personable, it was fun to be up in the air with them. They explained all the aspects of paragliding and hang gliding, you can tell how much passion they have for flying. Amazing experience, I recommend you fly with these guys if your so inclined.

  From the moment we had arrived at the flight park we were welcomed by Dave and felt right at home. We were shown around the grounds and were educated on the various types of flying and lessons provided. Dave was very knowledgeable. As we were preparing to launch I was given very clear and detailed instructions (this was my first time paragliding so I was Tandem-paragliding with Dave). I felt safe the entire trip down and couldn't have asked for a better time.

  I was in Vernon for a week of vacation, and was able to book a couple of sessions for paragliding lessons on fairly short notice. The instructors were great, and I felt that the lessons progressed at an appropriate rate. I was only there for a few days, but I was able to get a feel for the experience, which was great. Definitely going back next year.
